Who or what is XE Electrical?
XE Electrical is a business that was established by electricians for electricians. We understand the need to have great efficiency and that time driving to and from suppliers is non productive and costly. Our aim is to serve electricians by providing an online ordering facility with fast courier service and excellent prices.

Why should I register ?
If you are an electrician, by registering you will avail of a 10% discount on all orders.

Do you only deal with the Trade?
While we are here to support the Electrical Trade, the general public can also purchase from XE but they can not avail of the Trade Discount.
Orders and Shipment

What payment methods do you accept?
Stripe is our chosen payment method. It is fast, simple and secure. What's more, you don't even need a Stripe account. If you choose to make a payment, Stripe will process most Credit Cards just as a normal payment gateway and this can be done without opening a Stripe account.

What are the deliver times?
On normal working days, orders are picked and shipped within 24 to 48 hours. However, if you place your order before 12.00 noon on a normal working day, it will be shipped same day for next working day delivery.

Can I return unused goods?
Consumers purchasing online have the right to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving the goods in accordance with EU Consumer Regulations.
To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing within 14 days of delivery and obtain return authorisation before sending goods back. The goods must then be returned within 14 days of the cancellation notice.
Customers may inspect goods as they would in a retail environment. However, handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods may result in a deduction from the refund to reflect any diminished resale value, where permitted under consumer law.
Returned goods should be complete, adequately packaged, and suitable for resale. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty, damaged, or supplied in error. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured courier service, as we cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit.

What happens if I receive the wrong goods?
If you receive any incorrect items, you must contact us within 3 working days to obtain an authorised returns number. We will arrange for them to be collected from you and the correct items delivered to you by return. Any such delivery at our expense. Please check all orders before sending and make a copy of any emails and invoices for your own reference.

What if goods are damaged or faulty?
In the unlikely event that goods are delivered damaged or faulty you must contact us within 3 working days to obtain an authorised returns number. We will arrange for the goods to be collected from you and a replacement sent on receipt of the original faulty/damaged goods.

What if goods the goods or packaging is damaged upon arrival by courier?
In cases where the goods or packaging seems to be damaged upon arrival you have a right to refuse the parcel. Please contact us immediately if so, and we will arrange another shipment to be dispatched that day if possible
If the packaging seems to be damaged on arrival but you feel the items are probably okay inside please say this to the courier and mark it as damaged packaging upon arrival. Also please do get in contact with us straight away and let us know the situation. -
Do you ship to other EU countries?
We unfortunately don't currently ship to the EU.
